The Healing Place Men’s Campus expansion project, located at 1020 West Market Street, will break ground in the spring of 2015 and will be completed in the spring of 2017.

The Healing Place provides recovery services and housing at no cost to its clients. The Market Street facility currently offers 24 detox beds and 250 beds in its recovery program. A new men’s unit will house up to 60 men in the detox unit and 426 men in the recovery and transitional living programs.

The Mission of The Healing Place is to reach men and women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, provide the tools for recovery, and restore productive lives. The Healing Place has served Metro Louisville and surrounding areas since 1989 with a nationally-recognized, innovative drug and alcohol recovery program and a compassionate homeless shelter. Each day the program serves more than 700 men and women without any out-of-pocket cost to clients. The Healing Place has served approximately 100,000 men and women in its 25-year history.
